ham:
- place in crockpot with about an 1-2 inches of water for 5 hours
veggies:
- heat olive oil, bacon fat, garlic and italian spices (add crushed red pepper for spice) in pan for a few minutes
- add 3 tomatoes and stir around for a few minutes
- add chopped squash and zucchini
- cover for 5-10 minutes
one note: the ham was a bit dry which i think was because of the added water in the crockpot and may have been in there longer than it needed. next time, i will probably leave out the water and just put the ham in the crock pot by itself.
